Roadmaps give you a good idea of the island roads, however don't be surprised if you find a road that looks on the map to be a main road yet is - shall we say - in less than ideal condition. Many roads have potholes and uneven surfaces, take care, go slowly.
Most navigation is a bit of trial and error, and your are likely to take a wrong turn and get lost more than once - Locals are generally very happy to help you out and give you directions.
The bus signs are world famous - To City, Out of City - basically telling you you're heading to Bridgetown or not.

There are dozens of hire car companies to choose from and many also manage Taxi services.
Don't Pack it - Hire it.
Baby Strollers are a handful on flights so rent them here and save the packing, Collect at the Airport and have it collected when you go.
